Senior Underwriter, Middle Market Multi-Industry

We are seeking an experienced Middle Market Senior Underwriter to evaluate and underwrite commercial property & casualty risks in the middle market segment within a designated geographic area.

• Make data-driven underwriting decisions on complex accounts, managing broker and client relationships.
• Assess submissions, determine coverage terms, pricing, and accept/decline decisions within delegated authority.
• Develop broker strategies to grow profitable business and maintain strong market presence.
• Coordinate referrals for higher-limit or specialized risks and collaborate with internal teams to structure risk mitigation plans.
• Mentor junior staff and support underwriting processes.
• 
  Qualifications include a degree, 2.5+ years of underwriting experience, preferred professional designations, and strong analytical skills.
  Candidates must reside within the specified region and participate in in-person meetings.
