Sr Territory Manager - Beauty & Salon

The Designer creates the design, development, selection and approval of materials, silhouettes, color usage, and patterns appropriate for assigned brand and classification.
Primary Responsibilities:
Business Performance
- Reviews targeted reports and business processes to identify sales, profit and productivity opportunities across
assigned Territory.
- Provides feedback on Salon and JCPenney Beauty business initiatives at a global level to elevate business
performance.
- Understands the competitive landscape by observing and studying other companies to learn the current
initiatives/strategies.
Team Development
- Builds the leadership capabilities of the Beauty Field Team through coaching and feedback.
- Ensures the identification and development of a pipeline of talent to fill open Field Manager roles.
- Partners with Regional/District Managers to build succession plans at the store level to fill open roles.
- Engages with Field Managers to identify and address developmental needs within the store level Beauty Teams.
Team Leadership
- Fosters a one Beauty Team mentality in all interactions.
- Understands and articulates all Beauty strategies, initiatives, and direction.
- Partners with the BFM to ensure effective leadership of the Beauty Field Trainer. This includes the identification of
District/Store training opportunities. And building a plan to maximize resources and ROI.
- Leverages subject matter expertise to help drive the Beauty Strategies.
Brand Execution
- Embodies and articulates the vision of the Brand – both JCPenney Beauty and Salon in all communications and
interactions.
- Leverages Regional Vice President relationship to communicate key initiatives and drive accountability.
- Challenges the Field Teams to meet standards by communicating and reinforcing expectations.
Performance Standards
- Consistently meets established performance standards for the role, including (but not limited to) product and service
sales, client service, profit, productivity, and attendance
- Schedule/Travel: Typical travel with store visits Tues-Thurs, and presence during peak sales events –
evenings/weekends/holidays
