Summary: Assist in the daily operation of the branch under the supervision of the Branch Operations Manager within the guidance and directives as determined by Branch Administration. With prior branch teller and new accounts experience, position responsibilities include but not limited to:

Working: Thorough understanding of banking functions as related to paying and receiving teller transactions, branch operations and new accounts. The ability to be effective within the daily branch operations functions with little supervision, the ability to understand more complex banking terms and applications, and to be able to communicate procedures and train others. Strong organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to multi-task, are necessary. Thorough understanding and knowledge of products and services offered through the bank to include cash management and electronic banking required.
Language: Must possess the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Exhibit the ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical: Must possess the ability to apply basic mathematical concepts, add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Reasoning: Apply common sense to perform detailed but uninvolved written and verbal instructions. Able to understand and follow established Bank policies and procedures.
Interpersonal: Possess advanced people skills, to effectively communicate with and take direction from supervisors and accept instruction or constructive criticism, to gain experience and competency through training and daily interaction with supervisors and co-workers. Demonstrate high degree of customer service skills such as friendliness, attentiveness, patience, courtesy, and empathy, and deliver an advanced level of customer service to internal and external customers, both in person and on the telephone.
Computer: Working knowledge of computers and bank operating systems e.g., Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of four (4) years of branch banking to include at least two (2) years of experience as a paying and receiving teller working directly with the public, and a minimum of two (2) years functioning in a new accounts position either in the primary or back-up role.
