Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our Enterprise Capital Management Technology team within Corporate Treasury. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL and enterprise programming (Python, Java, or .NET) and a proven ability to deliver techno-functional solutions for capital management, including data ingestion, rules execution, and analytics for regulatory programs such as Basel IV and FRTB.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a techno-functional BA/FA to elicit requirements and translate them into robust solution designs.
- Design and support greenfield platforms for data ingestion, rules authoring and execution, and analytics.
- Collaborate with Treasury Technology teams to replace legacy applications and enable regulatory reporting.
- Author, validate, and optimize SQL for Oracle Exadata and similar databases.
- Contribute to development using Python or Java/.NET and support code reviews and testing.
- Analyze capital markets data with focus on credit risk, market risk, and capital calculations.
- Document risks and issues, propose improvements, and drive delivery within timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with at least 3+ years in a BA/FA techno-functional role.
- Proficiency in SQL with strong experience on Oracle Exadata or similar platforms.
- Hands-on programming experience with Python or Java/.NET.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, focused on credit risk, market risk, or capital calculations.
- Knowledge of regulations such as Basel, CRR, and CRD IV.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and self-direction.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Python code review and MicroStrategy reporting.
- Knowledge of big data architectures and cloud computing.
- Understanding of machine learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
