Major/Essential Functions
- Drive to/from Mesonet stations
- Load and unload supplies from truck / trailer
- Help with installation of new Mesonet stations
- Independently conduct maintenance of exiting Mesonet stations
- Troubleshooting station electronics including data acquisition, sensor, power supplies, regulators, communications, etc.
- Review data streams and associated graphs and tables to identify issues
- Work with landowners to coordinate visits, installations, and maintenance
- Oversee maintenance on TTU / WTM vehicle (oil changes, repairs, tires, etc.)

Required Qualifications
High school or equivalent and five years experience. Additional job related education may substitute for required experience on a year for year basis.
This position requires eligibility to drive TTU vehicles, including a valid U.S. driver license and two years of driving experience.
This position is designated as involving access to critical infrastructure systems and/or research, as defined by Texas Executive Order GA-48. As such, candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. Employees are required to comply with all applicable state and federal regulations related to the protection of critical infrastructure. Ongoing employment is dependent upon maintaining eligibility for access and successfully passing periodic security and compliance reviews.
