This role is integral for preparing, organizing, and completing program-specific documentation. The technical writer will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and program managers to ensure complex technical data is accurately translated into clear, concise, and compliant documentation.

• Document development and maintenance rn

• Collaborate with SMEs and team members to gather information for documentation, translating technical information into user-friendly content for diverse audiences rn
• Support document coordination including scheduling, tracking feedback, and version control rn

• Travel: Up to 10% (support to NSWC Crane, industry teammates, and program reviews) rn
• Quality assurance: Edit and proofread program-specific documents for clarity, consistency, grammar, and technical accuracy rn
• Technical skills and professional attributes:rn

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive content rn
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills rn
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint rn
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment rn
