The Senior Technical Fellow will provide advanced calibrations and specifications to deliver world-class vehicle drivability performance system efficiency safety and regulatory compliance through collaborative interaction. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of propulsion systems by implementing common development PCAL processes to drive efficiency and quality leveraging virtual methodologies to minimize physical properties and exceed budget and VO performance targets.

The Fellow will lead the transformation of the PCAL organization people and culture to support the transition from ICE to BEV and future mobility solutions.

A visionary technical leader with deep expertise in emission and aftertreatment systems capable of influencing strategy and execution while mentoring the next generation of engineers. This individual thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving innovation to support the transition to electrification and future mobility.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver calibrations and specifications ensuring optimal vehicle drivability performance efficiency safety and compliance. • Implement and standardize PCAL development processes to enhance quality and operational efficiency. • Utilize virtual development methodologies to reduce reliance on physical properties and accelerate innovation. • Drive cultural and organizational transformation to align with electrification and mobility strategies. • Serve as a technical authority and mentor fostering knowledge transfer and capability building across engineering teams. • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of emission and aftertreatment strategies into product development.

Additional Information

Travel Requirements: 10 normally or up to 25 as needed based on project. Work Location: Headquarters full-time onsite. Reporting Structure: Reports directly to VP of PRS Calibration.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field. • A minimum of 15 years of total work experience including a minimum of 10 years applying specialty expertise. • Sustained record of achievement and technical excellence. • Demonstrated ability to teach lead and inspire technical teams. • Strong verbal and written communication skills for complex technical topics. • Expertise aligned with current and future company needs. • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to train and coach technical specialists and engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field. • Published papers and/or patents in relevant technical areas. • Experience in people leadership and organizational development. • Full V-cycle experience for controls/software development. • Direct contributions to production deliverables. • Hands-on experience with modeled algorithms and production software. • Proficiency in plant model utilization for complex problem-solving.
