Position Overview The Senior Technical Analyst will primarily support the Capabilities Development Branch and be responsible for understanding and interpreting advanced technical capabilities, requirements, systems and concepts related to IAMD. This position will provide subject matter expertise for areas such as non-kinetic missile defeat, ACMDH, IAMD operational architecture, defense against hypersonics, space-based effects, cruise missile combat identification, electronic warfare, passive sensing and detection, advanced tactical data links, and joint integrated fire control.
Essential Job Function
Understand and interpret advanced technical capabilities, requirements, systems and concepts related to IAMD
Provide subject matter expertise in areas supporting the Capabilities Development Branch
Assist the Government in identifying, evaluating, advocating, developing, and transitioning promising emerging technologies and capabilities
Assess existing and emergent IAMD capabilities through evidence provided by studies, simulations, and technology demonstrations
Support development and evaluation of operational concepts, architectures, analyses, demonstrations, exercises, roadmaps, and assessments
Review and participate in research, development, test, and evaluation activities at the engineering level
Minimum Qualifications
Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
Master's degree
At least ten (10) years of professional experience within IAMD or a related area
Minimum of five (5) years supporting the Joint Staff, OSD, Service HQ, or CCMD HQ
Desired Qualifications
Experience with emerging IAMD technologies and capability development
Familiarity with non-kinetic missile defeat, electronic warfare, or space-based effects
Experience with technology transition from science and technology phase to operational force
