The Senior Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Analyst is a key member of the SEC and Financial Reporting team, supporting complex technical accounting projects, implementing new standards, and assisting with quarterly and annual SEC filings.
They perform research within U.S. GAAP, prepare accounting memos, and partner with cross-functional teams to determine appropriate accounting treatments. The role involves managing adoption of new standards like ASU 2024-03, maintaining global accounting policies, and supporting special projects such as acquisitions and ESG initiatives.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating with auditors, preparing SEC reports (Forms 10-Q and 10-K), and ensuring compliance.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of relevant experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication and project management skills. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, CPA certification, ERP experience, and manufacturing industry background.
