Burke CPAs & Advisors is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to provide technical leadership, oversee complex tax engagements, and serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and high-net-worth clients.

What You'll Do

• Manage complex business and individual tax engagements from planning through completion.
• Review tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to clients.
• Lead, mentor, and develop tax professionals.
• Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to practice growth.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and business development.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Demonstrated experience supervising and developing professional staff.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state taxation.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

Preferred

• Experience working with privately held businesses.
• Business development or practice leadership experience.

Compensation: Base $165,000–$180,000+ annually, commensurate with experience, leadership capabilities, and overall qualifications.

Operational and performance bonuses; target compensation $200,000+
