Senior Tax Accountant, Sales Tax

We’re seeking a proactive Senior Accountant to support indirect tax compliance and multi?state sales/use tax filings. This role partners cross?functionally, analyzes complex tax data, and helps improve key processes. Commercial real estate escrow experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review multi?state sales & use tax filings
  • Compile and analyze tax data from multiple sources
  • Query financial data using SQL; reconcile GL accounts
  • Manage exemption certificates and tax correspondence
  • Support cross?department tax issue resolution
  • Research multi?state tax rules and registration requirements
  • Identify process improvements; handle special projects

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1–3+ years relevant experience (indirect tax preferred)
  • Commercial real estate escrow experience highly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF formulas)
  • Strong communicator with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism
