Salary/Hourly Rate:
$90k - $100k

Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who's ready to step into a high-impact role supporting both individual and business tax engagements. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to sharpen their technical skillset, build strong client relationships, and gain exposure to more complex work, including multi-state and international matters-while continuing to grow their career in public accounting.

Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Accountant:
  • Prepare individual and business tax returns across a variety of entity types.
  • Support tax planning, projections, and targeted research to help clients make smart decisions.
  • Work directly with clients to gather information, clarify questions, and keep deliverables moving.
  • Assist with multi-state filings and coordinate requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Spot opportunities to streamline processes and use tech/tools to work smarter.
  • Partner with the team to hit deadlines, especially during peak tax cycles.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Tax Accountant:
  • Strong foundation in U.S. tax compliance for both individuals and business entities.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Clear, confident communicator who's organized and detail-driven.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Tax Accountant:
  • 4 - 7 years of tax experience, with recent experience in a CPA firm environment, is strongly preferred.
  • CPA license (or actively pursuing).
  • Exposure to multi-state tax filings and/or international tax considerations.
  • Experience supporting tax planning and research.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
