Senior Systems Security Engineer/Operations Research Analyst

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior Systems Security Engineer/Operations Research Analyst for support to the Naval Aviation Training Systems and Ranges Program Office (PMA-205) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD.  PMA-205 provides full lifecycle acquisition of naval aviation platform and general training systems, training range instrumentation systems, and distributed mission training centers.Tactical Combat Training System Increment II (TCTS II) is a next generation secure, Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) enabling, air combat training system that offers realistic threat scenarios and secure cross-service training.    

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review and communicate system security architecture and requirements for TCTSII and future Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) air combat training programs.
• Integrate systems security requirements into systems architectures and development, to include Cross-Domain Solution (CDS), cryptographic and anti-tamper requirements.
• Develop and assist with the processes for approval of security systems by National Security Agency (NSA) and Navy entities. 
• Provides high-level subject matter expertise, analysis, and technical guidance to support project execution
• Plan programs to meet current and future systems security requirements
• Execute risk management, identify vulnerabilities, assess risk and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provides advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems
• Administers complex areas of the network, security analysis, and planning.

Requirements:

• Management, Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university.
• ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Business, Management, Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience
• At least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering or operations analysis position, three (3) of which must be directly related to DoD systems.
• Demonstrated experience in area of engineering expertise is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communications and teamwork skills working in a collaborative environment
• Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance required
• This position will required SCI/SAP access.
• Must be a US Citizen 

Location:  On-Site at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD.
