Description

Senior Systems Engineer, Mindlance Inc. (Union, NJ)
  1. Manage and monitor Control-M workflows and job scheduling across multiple platforms.
  2. Migrating job schedules from development to test and then to production environments creating dependencies between Control-M, IBM Mainframes jobs across different servers
  3. Work with JES/SDSF, ISPF, JCL, CA-ESP, CA11, and NAS environments to ensure smooth batch operations.
  4. Utilize SA-level knowledge of UNIX, LINUX, and Windows systems for troubleshooting and system support.
  5. Perform and monitor file transfers using NDM, FTP, SFTP, PGP/FTP, and NFS, ensuring secure and accurate data movement.
  6. Apply knowledge of SQL and database infrastructure, including Oracle, MS-SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases.
  7. Support high availability and disaster recovery procedures, including backup and recovery operations.
  8. Read and analyze debug logs to identify and resolve system or application issues.
  9. Write and maintain Unix shell scripts and PERL scripts to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
  10. Apply understanding of network communication, SSL, LDAP, Hadoop (Big Data), virtual machines, and cluster environments in daily operations.
  11. Manage all release activities and downtime activities and handle tasks related to scheduling tables, calendars, and various Control-M utilities.
  12. Monitor job flow, handle ad hoc job requests, restart mainframe jobs, and troubleshoot batch job issues, including performing root cause analysis (RCA).
  13. Coordinate with functional teams, ensuring SLAs are met
  14. Will be involved with workload automation product controls tasks and monitor events in a multi-platform environment, optimizing business process flows with advanced workload automation that reduces manual intervention, system downtime, and processing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field of study.
  • 3 years' experience in position offered or related position with similar duties.

Travel required to unanticipated client locations all over the United States

SALARY: $138,902/per year including benefits
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
