MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in supporting a large US Government program in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation.
- Responsible for applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
- Interaction with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
- Communicates with other TDP project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives.
- Responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.
- Contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering.
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP), and DAWIA Systems Engineering Level III.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Use of computers and an ability for productivity in a government office environment within the APG
- Ability to travel within the APG to visit various physical customer locations.
