Description

Systems Engineer supports a large-scale Distributed Infrastructure, providing technical leadership in problem solving, maintenance, and project build situations, formulating solutions for improvement, and working with peers to establish a strategic direction for the environment. This position will install, maintain, and configure systems infrastructure on both on premise and Cloud platforms. Estimated salary range for this position is $93867.22 - $122027.39 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• Bachelors.

Additional Qualifications:

• BS in Comp Science, Comp Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable industry exp.
• Hands-on, proven expertise with developing tech solutions involving multiple apps to solve business/production needs.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, particularly in working within teams/stakeholders.
• Expertise in Linux,MacOS, &/or Windows sys admin.
• Exp managing cloud based solutions using VMware,AWS, GCP, &/or Kubernetes.
• Exp with LDAP, DNS, SSO, MDM, SMTP, sys performance-monitoring tools,virtualization, HTTP, email routing & admin, interacting with REST APIs for app integration & automation, & familiarity with authentication standards.
• Knowledge of programming with Python & other scripting languages such as bash, Perl, etc.
• Knowledge of Git or other version ctrl systems.
• Ability to query & visualize data using tools like Grafana, Kibana, &/or ElasticSearch.
• Excellent troubleshooting & problem solving skills.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networks, troubleshooting, & related technologies.
• Strong demonstrated skills in the following at a min: AWS,Chef,Docker,Terraform,F5,Couchbase,Apache,Nginx,Tomcat,ElasticSearch, Rabbit MQ, Angular.
• js, Node.
• js, Spring/Java, Rundeck.
• Required knowledge/understanding of technical architecture, application systems design & integration in a large enterprise environment.
• Power BI experience required
• Strong ability to design and present visual reports to C-suite leadership
• Experience working with Power Apps, automation tools, and Power BI reports
• Proven experience developing and building reports in Power BI
• Strong proficiency with the Office 365 platform
• Strong skills in SQL and Access, with experience pulling and structuring report data from these sources
• Experience with Power BI analytics and report building
