Senior Supply Chain Manager
Location: Torrance, CA (On-site daily)
Overview:
Growing high-tech manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for procurement, planning, supplier management, inventory control, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the supply chain team (purchasing, planning, logistics, inventory)
- Oversee procurement and material planning to support production schedules
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance (quality, cost, delivery)
- Drive sourcing strategies, cost reduction, and process improvements
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, QA, and Finance
- Monitor inventory levels, forecasts, and ERP data accuracy
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485; AS9100 a plus)
- Develop KPIs and present supply chain performance to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of supply chain/procurement experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Strong supplier management and contract negotiation background
- Experience in ISO-regulated manufacturing environments
- ERP/MRP experience (Sage or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- On-site role (not remote or hybrid)
