Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and execution of structural engineering deliverables for power generation, renewable energy, battery energy storage system (BESS), substation, transmission, and industrial infrastructure projects. This role serves as a senior technical leader within the structural engineering group, responsible for overseeing complex engineering assignments, mentoring engineering staff, and ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and cost-effective structural solutions throughout all phases of EPC project execution.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering for industrial and utility facilities, strong technical expertise in structural analysis and design, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams while maintaining a hands‑on role in engineering execution.Responsibilities Structural Engineering Leadership Lead structural engineering efforts for power generation, renewable energy, BESS, transmission, substation, and industrial infrastructure projects.Serve as the primary structural engineering resource on assigned projects.Provide technical leadership and oversight for structural design activities throughout project execution.Support project planning, staffing, scheduling, and engineering execution strategies.Assist with proposal development, project estimates, and technical presentations as required.Structural Design & Analysis Lead the design and analysis of:Structural steel buildings and support structuresEquipment foundationsPipe racks and utility structuresEquipment platforms and access systemsTransmission and utility support structuresReinforced concrete foundations and structuresIndustrial buildings and enclosuresPerform advanced structural analyses for gravity, wind, seismic, thermal, transportation, and equipment loading conditions.Develop and review structural calculations, engineering reports, technical specifications, and design criteria.Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and constructability objectives.Evaluate innovative design approaches that improve safety, efficiency, and project performance.Project Execution & Coordination Lead structural engineering scope from conceptual studies through detailed engineering, procurement support, construction, and commissioning.Coordinate structural deliverables with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and construction disciplines.Review vendor drawings, equipment submittals, and interdisciplinary engineering documents.Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, hazard assessments, and client meetings.Support management of project scope, schedule, budgets, and technical risks.Quality Assurance & Technical Excellence Review and approve engineering work performed by other engineers and designers.Ensure structural deliverables comply with company quality standards and industry best practices.Support development and implementation of engineering standards, procedures, and design guidelines.Promote continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned across projects.Mentor and develop junior and mid-level structural engineers and designers.Provide technical guidance, training, and professional development support.Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and workforce development initiatives.Foster a collaborative culture focused on safety, quality, innovation, and technical excellence.Construction & Field Support Conduct site visits, field investigations, and structural assessments.Provide engineering support during construction, startup, and commissioning activities.Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs), evaluate field modifications, and resolve construction‑related structural issues.Support preparation and review of as‑built documentation.Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.Master's Degree in Structural Engineering preferred.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Minimum 12+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.Significant experience supporting EPC, power generation, renewable energy, transmission, substation, utility, or industrial infrastructure projects.Demonstrated success leading structural engineering efforts on large multidisciplinary projects.Technical Skills Expert knowledge of:Equipment support structuresIndustrial facility designSeismic and wind engineeringAdvanced understanding of applicable codes and
