Position Summary

The Senior Strategic Operations Analyst supports key improvement initiatives and provides essential operational, administrative, and project support across the Legal, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Internal Audit, Security, and Governmental Affairs functions. Reporting to the Operations Manager for Legal, ERM, Internal Audit & Governmental Affairs, this role helps manage critical projects, document core processes, drive process improvement efforts, enhance governance activities, and support team engagement objectives. The Senior Strategic Operations Analyst plays an important role in enabling business teams through reliable execution, strong organizational skills, effective stakeholder coordination, and a continuous improvement mindset. The role will support the Audit, Legal, Risk, and Security teams in Bridgestone.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategic and operational initiatives that drive performance, alignment, and efficiency across supported business functions.
  • Support process documentation, optimization, standardization and knowledge continuity efforts, ensuring long-term business continuity.
  • Provide operational support across business functions, including coordinating workflows, maintaining shared tools and templates, and assisting with departmental processes such as audit and compliance documentation, onboarding activities, reporting, financial and vendor processing, and other cross-functional operational activities.
  • Coordinate compliance, reporting, and KPI tracking by collecting necessary data, maintaining dashboards and recurring reports, and ensuring documentation meets internal and external standards.
  • Support talent, onboarding, and training initiatives by preparing materials, coordinating logistics, maintaining role-based checklists, and assisting in intern program planning and execution.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to support consistent and efficient employee transitions.
  • Coordinate project activities, stakeholder communications, deliverables, and follow-up actions for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Foster productive working relationships across departments and support ad hoc operational and administrative projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of experience in operations, project coordination, business support, public accounting, audit, risk management, compliance, or other cross-functional corporate roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders, track deliverables, and maintain clear and accurate documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recurring processes, maintain operational documentation, coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, and support day-to-day business operations.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and adaptability, with the ability to learn new tools quickly, and support evolving business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to support operational efficiency efforts, including process documentation, workflow coordination, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Nice to Have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, Prosci Change Management, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience supporting Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, Security, or other corporate support functions. Experience working within audit or risk management environments is a plus.
