The Senior Strategic Analytics Manager serves as a key strategic advisor to BILH Pharmacy leadership and systemwide executives, providing the data foundation needed to guide organizational performance, clinical initiatives, and operational decision-making. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Strategy and Director of Data Management, this role leads the development of advanced analytics, data infrastructure, and informatics capabilities that enable data-driven strategy across BILH Pharmacy.

This position integrates strategic analytics, clinical informatics, and data engineering capabilities to transform complex clinical, operational, and financial data into actionable insights. The Senior Strategic Analytics Manager is responsible for developing scalable data models, dashboards, and analytical frameworks that support enterprise initiatives, optimize medication-related workflows, and advance clinical quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Working closely with pharmacy leadership, IT system services, clinical stakeholders, and analytics teams, this role ensures that data pipelines, reporting platforms, and EHR-based clinical decision support tools effectively support organizational priorities.

The position plays a critical role in advancing BILH Pharmacy's enterprise strategy by translating complex and evolving business needs into measurable performance metrics, strategic insights, and data-enabled initiatives that support long-term growth and operational excellence.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced data models, dashboards, and reporting tools that support enterprise initiatives and strategic decision-making.

  • Conduct advanced quantitative and qualitative analyses that integrate clinical performance, operational metrics, financial outcomes, and market trends to inform strategic planning and organizational priorities.

  • Develop business cases, financial models, and executive-level presentations that translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Partner with data engineering, IT, and analytics teams to develop scalable data pipelines and integrated data models that improve data accessibility and support enterprise reporting and analytics.

  • Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability through the implementation of monitoring processes, validation standards, and data management best practices.

  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT system services to support the development and optimization of medication-related clinical decision support and workflows within the electronic health record.

  • Monitor and assess the impact of informatics initiatives and EHR changes on clinical workflows, operational performance, and patient outcomes.

  • Establish strong partnerships across pharmacy, IT, finance, and clinical leadership to support alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Communicate complex analytical, technical, and strategic concepts effectively to diverse audiences, including senior executives and clinical leaders.

  • Identify risks, operational challenges, and strategic opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations and mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and healthcare innovations to inform strategy and operational improvement.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to analytics, informatics, and data team members to support professional development and capability building.

Required Qualifications

  • PharmD or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.

  • Active pharmacist license required.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare analytics, data science, informatics, consulting, or strategic analysis.

  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced analytics, data modeling, financial modeling, and strategic analysis.

  • Experience working with healthcare data systems and electronic health records.

  • Strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practice, medication safety, and healthcare operations.

  • Proven ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MS in Data Science, Health Informatics, Analytics, or related field) strongly preferred.

  • Lean Certification of Green Belt or higher preferred.

Pay Range:

$128,960.00 USD - $170,560.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
