Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor"s degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in product design or UX.
5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams.
3 years of experience working with executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications:
Master"s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

At Google, we "Focus on the user and all else will follow." As a UX Design Manager, you will drive this vision by defining product strategy, mitigating complexity, and conceptualizing ecosystem-level UX. You are a systems-level thinker and a fierce advocate for both your users and your team.
You will be responsible for guiding the careers of your direct reports, helping them realize their full potential while fostering a culture of forward-thinking design. With a practiced eye for quality, you will transform complex workflows into elegantly simple experiences. You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management leaders to align business goals with design innovation, leveraging your passion for brand, craft, and execution.
As a Senior UX Design Manager at Google One, you will lead two core missions: acquiring backup users and helping them discover the value of a Google One subscription. You will lead UX strategy and execution, collaborate across UX, engineering, and product management, and will build alignment in a complex environment while making tough trade-offs.
In this role, you will shape design by defining product strategy, conceptualizing ecosystems that mitigate complexity, and inspiring teams. As a UX leader, you will mentor a team helping them achieve their potential while creating simple experiences from complex workflows.

Responsibilities
Act as a key influencer for user experiences, aligning product and business goals with innovative, user-focused solutions.
Guide and develop a team of UX designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Lead the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems.
Manage the entire UX process from concept to execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and positive user experiences.
Build a culture of rapid exploration, prototyping and iteration cycles. Provide clear hypotheses for the team's work, measure results, and adapt based on insights.
Lead ongoing enhancements in design through user testing and stakeholder collaboration, providing expert guidance to achieve product success.
