Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Staff Representative in Quality Assurance - Internal Audit, you will play a key role in supporting United Airlines'' compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards through audits, investigations, and continuous improvement efforts. This role is critical to the integrity of our Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) and the safety and reliability of our operations. You will conduct comprehensive audits, assess operational compliance, and collaborate across departments to drive high standards of quality and performance.
Note: This is a remote position with a 50% travel requirement. While the role is fully remote, we prefer candidates based near one of our hub locations: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, Newark, Houston, or Washington D.C. (IAD)
Qualifications

Advanced degree in a technical, safety, or aviation-related field, or equivalent work experience
Auditing or maintenance experience with Part 145 Repair Stations
Professional certification in quality or safety
Knowledge and experience in the Aviation Maintenance Quality Management System Standard (AS9110) and experience in detailed root cause analysis methodologies such as Sologic RCA.
FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
ASQ Certification and/or Six Sigma Green Belt
Three or more years of aviation experience in maintenance, engineering, inspection, or quality assurance
Experience conducting quality audits, investigations, and risk assessments
Experience developing policies, procedures, or quality programs
Experience using data analytics and visualization tools such as Spotfire, Palantir, or SQL
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and process mapping techniques
The base pay range for this role is $89,965.00 to $117,212.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
