    Senior Staff R&D Electrical Engineer ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Staff R&D Electrical Engineer will operate in a dynamic, R&D environment developing semiconductor capital equipment in close collaboration with software, mechanical and process engineersThis role will act as a system owner in the specification, design, build and validation of electrical systems for wafer processing equipmentPartner closely with Software, Mechanical, and Process Engineers to define system requirements and ensure cross-functional integration of semiconductor capital equipmentDesign electrical power distribution, device I/O control, interlock schemes and interface circuitryIntegrate, direct and lead other team members in accomplishing system design, build and testLead design reviews, risk assessments and DFMEA processes within a stage-gate processCreate and manage project schedules with strong ownership of deliverablesCollaborate with internal and external manufacturing partners to build, refine and release designsBuild, test, debug prototype machines and subsystemsDrive methodical multi-disciplinary root cause analysis when necessaryBenefitsHealth insuranceRetirement plansPaid time offProfessional development opportunitiesQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have broad experience applying solid electrical engineering principles to equipment design and enjoy the opportunity to participate in the engineering process from definition through productionExperience with build, test, debug of prototype power panels, PCBAs, cables, I/O systems, computersStrong working knowledge and ability to apply industry standards such as NFPA79 and UL 508ABSEE with 15+ years or MSEE with 10+ years' experience in equipment designExperience with electrical system and PCBA design tools (Autocad Electrical, Altium, SPICE)Experience designing electrical power distribution, I/O control systems, interlock design, motion control subsystems for capital equipmentProficient with lab tools (oscilloscope, DVM, logic analyzers, hand tools)Experience working effectively with PLM and ERP systems to manage BOMs, ECOsExperience with structured methods for root cause analysis and problem-solvingExperience organizing and tracking internal and external resources to accomplish overall goalsExperience diagnosing and resolving complex, cross‑functional hardware and embedded system issuesStrong electrical engineering fundamentals with demonstrated expertise in machine designExperience developing semiconductor capital equipment to SEMI S2, S22 standardsAnalog circuit and FPGA design and modeling experienceExperience with industrial computer, OS integration and configurationExperience integrating EtherCAT and safety PLC systemsExperience integrating motion control or high‑power laser systemsProficient with mechanical CAD (SolidWorks or similar)Experience with test automation and data analysis techniquesExcellent leadership, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skillsStrong technical acumen, communication and presentation skills: capable of engaging in detailed technical discussions while simplifying complex topics for broader audiences#J-18808-Ljbffr
