Location
This is an on-site role in the Greater Phoenix Area. There may be limited flexibility for one remote day per week, but candidates should be comfortable working primarily in the office.

Job Description
- Support day-to-day accounting operations for a growing construction business
- Process and reconcile payroll, benefits, and payroll liabilities
- Assist with job costing and tracking project profitability
- Calculate and reconcile sales commissions
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Assist with month-end close and revenue and cost tracking
- Maintain accurate accounting records and help improve internal processes
- Work closely with finance, operations, and leadership to support business performance
- Help ensure accounting information is accurate, timely, and useful for decision-making
Qualifications
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required
- Construction accounting, job costing, WIP, overbilling, underbilling, QuickBooks Online, Gusto, or Bill.com experience preferred
