Position Overview

The Senior Staff Accountant will support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and lease-related accounting activities. This role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support lease accounting activities, including tracking and reporting lease transactions
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Help develop and improve internal controls and accounting processes
• Support tax compliance (sales tax, property tax, etc.)
• Collaborate with internal teams and assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 4+ years of accounting and/or audit experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with financial statement preparation and reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lease accounting or contract-based accounting
• ERP or accounting system experience
• Background in equipment leasing, finance, or asset-based industries
