Summary:
The Wholesale & International Sourcing team supports key business groups across Investment Banking, Wealth & Investment Management, Commercial Banking, and Market Data functions. The team is responsible for negotiating complex supplier agreements, mitigating risk, driving cost savings, and delivering strategic sourcing solutions that align with business objectives.
This role is being added to support strategic initiatives and enhance the team's ability to execute on critical sourcing objectives across multiple lines of business.
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex sourcing initiatives and deliverables while supporting large-scale sourcing and procurement efforts. You will work closely with business partners, legal, risk, and supplier stakeholders to negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, mitigate risk, and optimize costs.
The ideal candidate brings strong indirect sourcing experience within the financial services sector and has a proven track record negotiating technology, services, and market data agreements.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support moderately complex sourcing initiatives and procurement activities.
Negotiate supplier agreements, contract terms, pricing, and commercial arrangements.
Review and analyze sourcing challenges requiring evaluation of multiple variables and business considerations.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and mitigate contractual risk.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver sourcing solutions aligned with business objectives.
Contribute to resolution of sourcing-related issues while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Partner with legal, risk, finance, and business teams throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
Support sourcing activities across Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), Wealth & Investment Management (WIM), and Commercial Banking organizations.
Qualifications:

Indirect sourcing experience within the financial services industry.
Proven experience negotiating:
SaaS agreements
On-premise software contracts
Professional and managed services agreements
Market data contracts
Broker services agreements
Strong contract negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze complex sourcing requirements and develop strategic recommendations.
Experience working within highly regulated environments.
Ability to review and analyze moderately complex sourcing challenges and develop effective solutions.
Experience collaborating with business partners and stakeholders to deliver sourcing objectives while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Experience supporting one or more of the following: (preferred)
Investment Banking
Wealth Management
Commercial/Wholesale Banking
Market Data organizations
Fortune 100 sourcing experience, preferably within banking or financial services. (preferred)
Experience negotiating high-value technology, software, and business services agreements. (preferred)
Strong understanding of procurement risk management, governance, and supplier relationship management. (preferred)
