UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect Lead with PeopleSoft Implementation experience in a hybrid role in Albany, NY for a long-term enterprise HR systems modernization initiative. Local applicants only, active LinkedIn preferred. The senior solutions architect will have at least 8 to 10 years of related experience, as well as PeopleSoft implementation experience and the ability to identify technical options and implementation strategies for requirements not efficiently delivered by PeopleSoft configurations.
***Approximately a 6-month contract. Must be available to work onsite in Albany, NY 50 percent of the time.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, or related technical field preferred but not required
Minimum 10 years of relevant IT and enterprise architecture experience
Strong PeopleSoft implementation experience within large enterprise environments
Experience developing technical strategies to enhance and modernize HR systems
Ability to identify technical options and implementation strategies for requirements not efficiently delivered through PeopleSoft configurations
Experience documenting current-state and future-state system architecture
Strong understanding of enterprise interoperability, data integration, and workflow optimization
Experience developing technical solutions that reduce system customizations and improve maintainability
Experience participating in prototype and proof-of-concept initiatives
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards and artifact development
Experience supporting enterprise governance, project management, and technical planning efforts
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience preparing technical analyses, reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Participate in finalizing business, functional, and technical requirements to support system enhancement initiatives
Document legacy system architecture and evaluate opportunities for modernization
Develop strategies to improve interoperability between existing PeopleSoft systems and related applications
Design technical solutions to improve data reliability, streamline workflows, and eliminate duplicate data entry
Develop solutions to deliver existing and new functionality while reducing the number and complexity of PeopleSoft customizations
Design technical approaches to address business requirements not effectively supported through standard PeopleSoft functionality
Participate in prototype and proof-of-concept exercises to evaluate solution approaches
Identify opportunities to streamline interfaces between PeopleSoft and external systems
Document future-state architecture in alignment with enterprise standards, shared services, and security requirements
Support project, workstream, and sprint planning activities for system enhancements and modernization efforts
Develop SDLC artifacts in accordance with industry and State standards
Produce technical analyses, governance materials, reports, and presentations to support project management and decision-making activities
Prepare documentation and presentations related to prototype and proof-of-concept outcomes
