Become a part of the team and product that is originating, developing, and optimizing the future of our energy infrastructure. Do you want to be a part of creating abundant, affordable, reliable, and clean energy at scale?
VECKTA enables commercial and industrial energy users to evaluate the best energy transition pathways and connects buyers with providers of capital, equipment, and services to deploy renewable-led onsite energy systems.
We are building the industry's leading digital platform for evaluating, designing, financing, and deploying distributed energy projects. Our platform combines complex technical and financial modeling with intuitive workflows that help customers make better decisions faster.
We're looking for an experienced Software Product Designer who can help us deliver exceptional user experiences for enterprise customers operating in complex technical environments.
As a Product Designer at VECKTA, you will own the user experience for new product capabilities from discovery through delivery. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, energy specialists, marketing, customers, and executive leadership to simplify complex workflows into intuitive, elegant experiences.
Beyond designing new functionality, you will continuously evaluate the platform to identify usability improvements, help establish a consistent design language, and ensure that what is built matches the intended user experience through design QA. You will also be responsible for collaborating with marketing to ensure our branding, storytelling and values are consistent throughout the company's product and market facing content.
This is a highly collaborative role where your work will directly influence the direction of our product and the experience of customers across the energy industry.
Your primary responsibility will be designing intuitive, high-quality user experiences across the VECKTA platform. Responsibilities include:
Design end-to-end user experiences for new platform capabilities
Create and maintain production-ready designs, prototypes, and design system components in Figma (or equivalent platform).
Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
Partner with Product and Engineering to translate business requirements into intuitive product experiences
Conduct UX audits across the platform and identify opportunities to improve usability, consistency, accessibility, and efficiency
Help evolve and maintain VECKTA's design system and UI standards
Work closely with engineering during implementation to perform design QA and ensure accurate execution
Balance user needs with technical constraints and business objectives
Participate in product discovery, customer interviews, and design reviews
Help establish design best practices as the product and team continue to scale
Success in this role means making a sophisticated enterprise platform feel simple, intuitive, and enjoyable to use.
