    Position: Senior Software Engineer
    Location: Whippany, New Jersey - Hybrid
    Terms: 12+ Months Contract


    Position Overview:
    The Senior Full Stack Engineer will join a mission-critical team within our US-Financial Services division, helping shape engineering standards, architectural direction, and technical strategy for a prominent US banking client. The team's mission is to design, develop, and deploy scalable, cloud-native banking solutions that ensure utmost application reliability, security, and performance.

    Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
    • Architect full-stack solutions using a Java/Spring backend, React/Angular frontend, and AWS cloud services.
    • Lead design sessions, technical planning, and backlog refinement for engineering tasks.
    • Define coding standards, secure coding practices, and performance guidelines for the engineering team.
    • Drive CI/CD maturity, observability, and DevOps best practices across the development lifecycle.
    • Guide the definition of cloud-native patterns including serverless, microservices, and containerization.
    • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Product Owners and Solution Architects on roadmap and technical strategy.

    Top 3 Required Skills:
    • Java, Spring Boot, & Spring Cloud: 10+ years (Expert-level proficiency required)
    • Microservices Architecture & Advanced System Design: 8+ years
    • React or Angular Frontend Development: 5+ years

    Additional Desired Skills:
    • AWS Expert-Level Cloud Infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM)
    • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
    • Event Streaming Technologies (Kafka or Kinesis)
    • Observability Stacks (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana)

    Ideal Candidate Profile:
    The ideal candidate is an expert-level, hands-on technical leader with a robust background in the US Financial Services or banking domain.
