Ideal candidates started their careers in application development (Java preferred) and transitioned into SRE, combining hands‑on coding expertise with reliability engineering best practices.This is not an infrastructure-focused DevOps role. We are specifically seeking an engineer with deep application development experience who has evolved into Site Reliability EngineeringHybrid onsite in Detroit 3 days a week. 8 month+ contract with possibility to extend/convert. USC/GCH holders only.Requirement5+ years of SRE experience supporting large-scale production environments.Strong application development background with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications in AWS.Hands‑on expertise with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Python), and DevSecOps.Experience with observability platforms such as Splunk and Dynatrace.Strong understanding of SLI/SLO/SLA frameworks, incident response, performance tuning, and system reliability.Ability to partner closely with engineering teams to improve application reliability throughout the SDLC.#J-18808-Ljbffr
