OverviewWhat You Will DoThe growth and diversification of the Power Business Line is a top initiative on both a regional and national scale. Our projects involve the design of high voltage infrastructure to support the upgrading and expansion of the electrical grid including design of wind generation sites, photovoltaic generation sites, electrical substations, transmission lines, and battery storage facilities.ResponsibilitiesDevelop projects from the conceptual phase through design completion in accordance with approved project drawings and specificationsPartner with project stakeholders to plan, design, and permit various civil engineering projects in the Power IndustryDevelop civil design packages including site plan preparation, grading plans and profiles, stormwater management design and calculations, SWPPP, erosion & sediment control, utility coordination, permitting, plan & specifications preparation, and other documents required for industrial power facility constructionProvide engineering support during and post-construction to ensure all applicable engineering and construction standards have been metAssist with the preparation of proposals which include scope, schedules, and budgetsCoordination and assistance with other company disciplinesManage and schedule execution of projectsMonitor projects productivity, quality, and progressMonitor and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective mannerEnsure that all projects meet safety standards in accordance with OSHA, state & local regulations and other industry best practicesEducation | ExperienceWhat You Will Bring To Our FirmBS in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited universityProfessional Engineer (PE) License and ability to obtain multiple jurisdictions7+ years of applicable experience in site development designProficiency in AutoCADKnowledge of advanced (3D) design softwareExcellent oral and written communication skills, able to lead client presentationsProficiency with ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, or HEC-RASCompensationThe salary range for this role is $125,000.00 - $160,000.00.
