Job Description
  • Schedule patient appointments and tests efficiently and timely.
  • Answer incoming calls, assess needs, and direct them to appropriate personnel.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff.
  • Manage new patient setups with appropriate documentation and coding.
  • Obtain and enter insurance authorizations into patient records.
  • Maintain the scheduling template with physician meetings and call coverage.
  • Demonstrate understanding of patient confidentiality and follow office policies.

Critical Information
  • On-site position.
  • Normal office hours apply.

Education/Licenses Needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum three years scheduling experience in a medical office setting.
