IDR is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join one of our top clients. This role is a unique opportunity for a technical leader and subject matter expert to take charge of the full lifecycle of Salesforce development, from architectural design to hands-on implementation. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Salesforce Developer:
- Architect and Develop Solutions: design, build, and deploy full-stack Salesforce solutions using APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and modern integration methods such as REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events
- Configure and Customize the Platform: apply deep expertise in both declarative tools (e.g. Flows, App Builder, Custom Objects) and programmatic development to deliver scalable solutions, making informed decisions on when to use native features versus custom code
- Champion Code Quality: lead with a test-driven development (TDD/BDD) approach, writing robust unit tests and participating in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code
- Design with Intention: create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and validate solutions before development. Participate in live, collaborative design sessions with stakeholders
- Own Platform Management: oversee core administrative functions including user and permission management, data integrity, platform security, and the development of reports and dashboards to support business insights
- Integrate and Automate: build and maintain integrations with external systems and leverage AI tools (e.g. Einstein Copilot) to enhance automation, development efficiency, and user experience
- Collaborate and Communicate Effectively: work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify requirements, communicate technical decisions clearly, and ensure alignment with business goals
- Drive Progress and Remove Blockers: take initiative to review project materials, anticipate team needs, and proactively address obstacles to keep development efforts on track
Required Skills for Senior Salesforce Developer:
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer II, and/or System/Application Architect certifications are highly preferred
- Deep proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
- Strong experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk) and building complex system integrations
- Demonstrable familiarity and project experience with Salesforce Health Cloud data models and capabilities
- Experience with Salesforce DX, source control (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines
