Salary Range: Competitive compensation starting at $120,000 annually (minimum base pay), plus benefits and bonus eligibility.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and driven safety professional to lead and elevate our Safety and Compliance program at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). This role is ideal for a high-performing individual ready to step into a senior or director-level position and make a meaningful impact across a workforce of approximately 250 tradespeople in Atlanta, Chamblee, Lawrenceville, Ft. Collins and Puerto Rico.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving safety programs while fostering a culture of accountability, compliance, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all aspects of the Safety Department across the organizationMaintain, update, and enhance the company's Safety Manual and Safety ProgramConduct routine and targeted safety audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunitiesDraft detailed inspection reports to document findings and corrective actionsMaintain accurate and up-to-date safety and compliance documentation and recordsOversee, schedule, monitor and track CDC-mandated vaccinations as applicableEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and industry safety regulationsConduct incident root cause analysis and corrective managementPerform all other duties assignedLeadership & Training ResponsibilitiesPromote a proactive safety culture focused on prevention, accountability, and continuous improvementTrain management staff to conduct effective safety and compliance training programsPerform thorough accident investigationsIdentify root causes and implement corrective actionsRequired ExperienceMinimum of 5+ years of safety experience in construction, industrial, or a related fieldPrior leadership experience preferred, but candidates ready to transition into a senior or director-level role are encouraged to applyEducation & CertificationsB.S. in Occupational Safety & HealthB.S. in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)B.S. in Industrial Hygiene or Occupational HealthTechnical Knowledge & ExpertiseStrong working knowledge and/or certification in OSHA 30-Hour ConstructionOSHA 30-Hour General IndustryNFPA 70E Electrical SafetyFirst Aid / CPR / AEDConfined Space SafetyLockout/Tagout (LOTO)Aerial Lift / MEWP SafetyHazard Communication (HazCom) / GHSRespiratory ProtectionHot Work SafetyLadder SafetyFamiliarity with ISO 14001 standards is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Box Cloud Management SystemProficient in computer software for safety management and reportingPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk, stand, and move throughout active job sites for extended periodsAbility to climb ladders, access elevated work areas, and navigate uneven terrainMust be able to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds occasionallyAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and fall protection as neededSufficient visual and auditory acuity to identify hazards and ensure safety complianceCombination of office, lab and field-based work; regular exposure to construction and industrial job site conditions, including noise, dust, temperature variations, and heavy equipment; local travel and 10% travel out-of-state; company-furnished truck and gas allowance provided; May require early mornings, extended hours, or occasional weekend work based on project and operational needs; Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with shifting priorities.RequirementsEmployees may be subject to immunization and testing requirements pursuant to client and current company requirements.Employees must meet the requirements of the federal credentialing process to access the facility, which includes but is not limited to obtaining facility access (e.g., PIV card, smart card, access card, and/or badge) and meeting ongoing training and access requirements.Additional RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesNo relocation assistance is availableFour Seasons Environmental, Inc. is a federal contractor and is required to comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, which supersedes state laws to include cannabis.
