Together, we're making an impact around the world.Your OpportunitySenior Project Engineers plan, design, and direct engineering projects that focus on transportation systems such as highways, streets, bridges, tunnels, drainage structures, roadway lighting, airports, railroads, and commuter trains, of a complex nature. They assess potential construction sites, check existing structures for upgrades, and create drawings and schematics of projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software. A Project Engineer approves and prepares proposals and cost estimates and evaluates all project progress and recommends changes. Represents project work in client meetings and continues to cultivate relationships with client organizations. May provide work leadership and training to more junior professional and technical staff and provides technical guidance to less experienced professionals or technicians assigned to work on a common project.
