Role Description ----------------
Arcadis seeks to hire a Senior Roadway Design Engineer to join the team in the Cleveland, Columbus, or Akron location. In this position, you will have the opportunity to lead and direct the development and design of infrastructure projects for roadways, including intersections, collector streets, urban arterials, rural, and urban expressways, interstates, and interstate interchanges.
Role Accountabilities ---------------------
You will have the opportunity to perform different roles on multi-disciplined projects, including:
Participate in a client-facing role, either as a team or individual, making presentations and managing client expectations.
Project Development Experience -----------------------------
You should have experience working as an individual or through team efforts to assist in developing project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintaining client needs for the Project Manager, mentoring and developing junior staff and designers, developing project plans, and maintaining project schedules and ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices, including quality and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience Required -----------------------------------
• Engineering experience with infrastructure design and construction engineering, which may include cost estimates, technical reports, construction plans, and project displays. • Proficiency with CAD, particularly Civil3D, Microstation, and experience with OpenRoads software. • Familiarity with ODOT design standards and policies.
Interpersonal and client-facing requirements will require someone with excellent clear and concise oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to contribute information to meetings, assist with effective client presentations, and prepare written reports and meeting minutes.
Must have the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously. You should also have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and be a self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible individual who possesses the initiative and ability to tackle new projects, challenges, and concepts.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $126,592 - $161,405. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
