JOB DESCRIPTION Sr RF/MW Engineer (RFE5382) Exempt: Yes Safety Sensitive: Yes
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Microwave RF Engineer is responsible for the development, testing, and validation of mmWave and RF technologies, actively contributing throughout the product development cycle. The role focuses on highly integrated wireless systems and advanced measurement techniques.
Responsibilities include passive and active device characterization, cascaded measurements, and over-the-air (OTA) testing of horn and phased-array antennas. The engineer develops automated test setups, controls instrumentation, analyzes large datasets, and performs troubleshooting as needed.
This position owns circuit- and system-level solutions for wireless chipsets, working closely with design teams and technicians. The role includes presenting technical results, interpreting schematics, supporting firmware or test program updates, and occasionally leading projects or mentoring team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this role successfully, the candidate must be able to execute each essential duty at a high technical standard. The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for success in this position.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience; or Bachelors degree with equivalent practical experience in RF/microwave engineering.
