Job Details

Overview:
Large, complex organization seeking a Senior Accountant, Revenue to own end-to-end revenue accounting across contract-driven revenue streams (administrative fees, rebates, etc.). This role will act as a subject matter expert and control owner, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, audit readiness, and financial integrity in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.

This is a highly visible role partnering across Finance, Commercial, and Operations, with heavy exposure to contract interpretation, reconciliations, and revenue analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own month-end close for revenue, ensuring accuracy, cutoff, and compliance with accounting standards
  • Manage complex balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Lead revenue recognition and reserve analysis, including technical accounting application
  • Interpret contracts (fees, rebates, pricing) and translate into accounting treatment
  • Oversee billing, cash application, and revenue cycle integrity
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and audit readiness
  • Analyze trends, identify revenue leakage, and drive process improvements
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve financial visibility and decision-making
  • Leverage ERP systems (SAP preferred) to improve scalability and automation

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of accounting experience (strong revenue focus)
  • Deep knowledge of revenue recognition, accruals, and financial reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities
  • Proven experience with reconciliations, audits, and controls
  • Ability to interpret complex contracts and translate financial impact

Preferred:
  • Healthcare / pharma / distribution / contract-heavy environment
  • CPA or CPA-track
  • Large company or multi-entity experience
