Client Overview:
Our client is an established organization in Miami with a collaborative Finance team and strong opportunities for professional development, and is seeking an interim/temporary Senior Revenue Accountant to help their team during a critical time of year.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$75k - $95k Annually DOE

Position Overview:
The Senior Revenue Accountant will be reporting to Accounting leadership. This role supports corporate accounting and revenue operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, revenue recognition, and month-end close activities across multiple entities.

Responsibilities of the Senior Revenue Accountant:
  • Support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and multi-currency accounting.
  • Review revenue recognition and customer contracts for accounting compliance.
  • Reconcile AR, unbilled costs, and key balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare invoices, revenue reports, and financial reconciliations.
  • Maintain customer, project, and contract data within ERP systems.
  • Assist with process improvements, system implementations, and audit support.
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve billing and revenue-related matters.
  • Complete additional accounting projects as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Revenue Accountant:
  • 3 - 5+ years of accounting experience within a large corporate or multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and month-end close.
  • Experience supporting audits and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • ERP experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Revenue Accountant:
  • CPA certification or active pursuit.
  • Experience with Workday Financials or a comparable ERP platform.
  • Experience with Workday or similar is preferred.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
