Job Summary:
This position will perform biomedical research on eye tissues. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Perform live cell imaging and image analysis. • Perform cell culture, biochemical assays, protein expression and purification, protein gels, and western blots. • Perform molecular biology tasks, including PCR, DNA sequence analysis, and gel electrophoresis. • Manage mouse colony. • Order lab supplies and reagents. • Maintain lab cleanliness and keep accurate records.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Biology, Neuroscience, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience working in a research laboratory. Practical and theoretical knowledge of cell and molecular biology.
Work Days:
Monday - Friday; Some evening or weekend hours may be required to accommodate lab activities.
