Schwab Advisor Services, the industry leader of custodial, operational, trading, product, and technology solutions for independent fee-based investment advisors (RIAs) is seeking an innovative, results-driven individual to serve as Senior Relationship Manager covering Enterprise clients.

We seek a relationship leader with strong executive presence and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - someone who represents Schwab with credibility in a C-suite environment and uses a consultative, insight-led approach to advance mutually beneficial enterprise strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop deep relationships with the C-suite of Enterprise firms to become a trusted advisor • Masters partnering and collaborating with Enterprise firms to shape their strategic vision, while nurturing relationships across multiple levels of the firm, including establishing a presence and influencing growth with affiliated offices • Owns strategic client development; identified and develops strategies for the Enterprise Firm through opportunity identification; establishes proper advisor expectations and searches for ways to extend and expand the business relationships • Assembles executive level selling teams, sets objectives with the selling team, coaches and influences without direct authority the selling team to deliver on outcomes • Serves as the primary relationship Executive between the advisor and Schwab, advocating for the Enterprise firm, while balancing the needs of the company with the overall goal of maximizing the value of the relationships to both parties • Influences internal stakeholders, product leaders, and Executives to make strategic investments in capabilities to support the Enterprise firm's priorities, oversees the build and implementation with advisors • Contribute to the firm strategy by providing strategic insights from Enterprise relationships to inform strategic investments/capabilities that may benefit the larger RIA Community • Acts as the Executive Sponsor and is accountable for all strategic initiatives the Enterprise firm is collaborating with Schwab; responsible for directly managing the end-to-end project or coordinating with Shared Services • Accountable for profitable revenue growth and leads pricing and benefit negotiations internally and with the Enterprise firm

What You Have

We are seeking an entrepreneurial self-starter, who has a proven ability to connect with senior leaders at a business-to-business level under their own initiative. We are looking for someone with superior executive presence, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with an exemplary consultative selling/relationship management acumen.

Must have demonstrated expertise in all aspects of the RIA industry including technology, sales, operations, practice management, M&A, compliance, competition, and fee structures. In-depth knowledge of Schwab products, operating system, and services preferred, or demonstrated transferable brokerage industry knowledge and/or the ability to learn the products and services with a limited learning curve.

Must have demonstrated ability to negotiate, initiate, lead c-suite strategic and mid-level tactical meetings, relate to people of all levels, and can think on his/her on their feet. Proven record of achieving/exceeding sales goals with a history of building strong business relationships and internal partnerships.

Required Qualifications:

• Up to 50% travel • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience • Must have an Active and valid FINRA Series 7 • Must have an Active and valid FINRA 63 license or can be obtained by condition of employment • Must have a minimum of 10+ years of RIA industry experience • Must have sales, consulting, or RIA business management experience • Must have internal or external relationship management experience

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
