Job Overview The Gogo Sr. Regional Sales Manager – New York/New Jersey – is responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies aimed at key business aviation prospects, converting them to customers and subscribers. The role focuses on developing new business and expanding existing relationships in the U.S. Eastern region and New England, as well as parts of Canada.Responsibilities Support the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies for the introduction and promotion of Gogo's inflight internet products and services.Develop programs, promotional activities, and a formal pipeline to increase service uptake, usage, and equipment purchases.Provide key support for airport event activities, including on‑site presence, tactics, logistics, and direction to event teams.Represent Gogo within the local aviation community through presentations, speaking engagements, and training sessions.Engage with OEM and dealer support teams to grow Gogo's aircraft OEMs and dealers in the region.Partner with internal groups (e.g., aircraft applications engineers, pricing, product, marketing) to develop and execute marketing communications.Recommend product feature improvements to product development and engineering teams.Assist other Regional Sales Managers in achieving company sales goals.Deliver professional sales service to new and existing customers.Attend industry and OEM trade shows and regional events.Collaborate with managers to analyze program/campaign performance data and present findings and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Aviation, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.7–12 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5–7 years of B2C or B2B sales experience.5–7 years of business aviation market experience.2–5 years of experience supporting the sale of satcom equipment or airtime in the consumer marketplace.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.Must be located in the New York or New Jersey region of the U.S.Required Skills & Experience Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Ability to analyze situations, identify problems, recommend solutions, and evaluate outcomes.Strong decision‑making capabilities.Professional representation of Gogo to the public.Meet tight time constraints and deadlines.Handle highly confidential information.Determine strategy to help achieve department goals.Preferred Skills & Experience Ability to work harmoniously with others at all levels.Strong prioritization skills under stressful situations.Can‑do attitude, collaborative work style, and flexibility.Compensation & Benefits Equal Pay Disclosure(s)Base Pay: 128,000.00 – 160,000.00 USDAnnual Target: Commission PlanEligible for Incentive Stock Program: YesBenefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, an immediate‑vesting 401(k) plan, paid time off, volunteer time off, and participation in an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.EEO Statement Gogo is an Equal Opportunity and affirmative action employer, working in compliance with both federal and state laws.
