deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Senior Radar System Analyst in Huntsville, AL.Position DescriptiondeciBel Research is seeking a senior level radar system analyst to support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) analysis efforts for digital and hardware-in-the-loop radar system representations on an open systems architecture platform.The successful candidate will work alongside other analysts and engineers to ensure M&S capabilities are implemented to meet system requirements, support development and test activities, and perform root-cause and deep-dive analysis of data anomalies.Education RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related disciplineExperience Requirements12+ years experience in technical data analysis on DoD programs.Proficiency on Linux OSProficiency with scripting languages such as Python or MatlabExperience with data extraction, reduction, and analysis techniques for Ground Test and Flight Test dataExperience with radar performance metricsStrong deductive reasoning and problem solving skillsProficiency in performing root-cause analysis and ability to clearly communicate results with team members and stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to generate clear, concise presentation of analysis results (customer charts vs engineering charts)Demonstrated experience mentoring junior analysts and leading analysis teamsUnderstanding of basic statisticsFamiliarity with DoD radars and/or C2BMCGeneral knowledge of radar systemsExperience with H5 file formatApplicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance .
