This individual will provide technical support to our team and be a resource on all QMS and EMS questions and concerns. The Senior Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting and executing all activities concerned with the development, review, implementation and maintenance of procedures and quality standards for manufacturing processes, materials, and systems.ResponsibilitiesPerforms internal, customer, and supplier auditsDemonstrates competency in developing and implementing policies and procedures (ISO, IATF, AS, etc.)Performs document control, creates training documents, and ensures good documentation practices are followedReviews and updates documentation for QMS and EMS systems, and reviews customer satisfaction reportingAssists with material review board activities, corrective action review meetings, management reviews, and monthly management reportsAssist Quality Management with key continuous improvement initiativesMaintains knowledge on all government regulationsVerifies that the quality department is meeting key metricsIssues quality reports to upper management on a regular basisEnsures that suppliers continue to meet quality standards set by the companyAssists other departments (companywide) with Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems inquiries, initiatives and improvementsOther duties as needed and assignedQualificationsBachelors degree in a relevant discipline requiredMinimum 5 years of work experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAutomotive, aerospace, medical production experience in quality preferredSome knowledge of IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 preferredExperience with Quality procedures, standards, customer requirementsStrong problem‑solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with customersAbility to work under deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentMust be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basisBenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefits package as well as: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k match, Life insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, PTO, and more!Opportunities for career advancement and professional growthOngoing learning and training and development opportunitiesCompany and department led team‑building activities and eventsSalaryA reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $92,500 - $110,000 USD.
