Summary:

  • Provide line-embedded leadership focused on reducing and eliminating quality losses across Cracker lines and Ingredient Handling.
  • Partner closely with operations teams to drive continuous improvement, strengthen quality ownership, and ensure sustainable results.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and reduce recurring quality losses (holds, deviations, rework, instability).
  • Lead structured problem-solving using IL6S, RCA, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Track performance using Daily Management Systems (DMS) and ensure timely action closure.
  • Deploy and sustain Quality Pillar tools (process maps, quality matrices, standard work).
  • Own Quality Metrics and IQS governance, including training and system support.
  • Lead quality investigations, risk assessments, and decision-making during complex events.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and extend improvements across multiple lines.
  • Coach and develop team members while strengthening a culture of quality and accountability.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in quality, Food Science, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a food manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Flexibility to support operations across shifts as needed.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in manufacturing quality, food safety, or process engineering.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and equipment behavior.
  • Proven ability to lead or support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, IL6S preferred).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across teams.
