Business Unit: Energy Conversion SolutionsJob SummaryThe Senior Quality Engineer ensures the highest possible reliability and quality of the Manufacturing processes and products. The Senior Quality Engineer will ensure that AMETEK's products and processes meet established quality standards from supply chain to end user by identifying requirements based on customer needs, implementing quality assurance and quality control methods at the points of quality, identifying issues and opportunities, and developing continuous improvement, corrective, and preventive measures. In addition, the Senior Quality Engineer will set up and monitor QMS procedures and processes.This is a cross‑functional role that will frequently interact with management and Customers to provide technical assistance related to product expectations, failure analysis and other quality considerations. This role is also required to demonstrate a heightened sense of urgency in resolving matters related to quality and contribute positively to a fast‑paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and incorporate Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and processes per ISO 9001, AS9001, AS5553A and Customer Special Requirements.Work collaboratively with all levels of the organization in AMETEK Programmable Power's goals and objectives.Lead internal audits of other departments for compliance to the QMS. ECO -QA Review/Approval.Champion activities to contribute and drive in the investigation and elimination of internal and external quality problems using applicable problem‑solving techniques for determining Containment, Root Cause and Corrective/Preventive Action solutions along with Verification actions.Participate as required in new product development, perform HALT, analyze data and perform design reviews to create acceptance criteria, specifications and control limits for product, components and manufacturing.Lead reviews, failure analysis and corrective action reports on reliability and technical issues for both field and internal manufacturing issues.Direct efforts of Quality Technicians and other staff as assigned.
