The ChallengeWe are looking for a Senior Manual Software QA Engineer who will drive and improve the quality assurance function within OneTrust. The Senior Manual QA Engineer will be responsible diving into the details to identify failure points using various data models, mentoring other resources and influencing automation.This is a hands-on testing role. In this role, the resource is closely working with the product team to understand the functionality being developed and test to make sure it meets the acceptance criteria. As the resource matures in understanding the breadth and depth of product functionality, the resource should be able to bring in critical thinking to ask the “what if” questions to strengthen the tests.The role evaluates continuous improvement by looking at repetitive tests and works with the team to get them automatedThis role understands customer use cases and usage models in production to begin incorporating the right tests in the release pipelineThis role begins to understand the dependency models and makes informed decisions to test intelligentlyYour MissionThe Senior Manual Quality Engineer is responsible for improving the quality of the OneTrust products by identifying and troubleshooting errors.As a Senior Manual QE Engineer, you will:You WillAttend team sprint ceremonies.Attend daily team standupPick up the testing work assigned within the teamProvide periodic updatesSupport other resources within the team, as seen fit, based on skillsetContinuously learn the system by being hands on and testing the productUse critical thought to help identify gaps or defectsIdentify and investigate issues found during testing, and update test cases based on discovered defects.Work closely with software developers and software quality analysts to resolve issues.Work closely with software developers and SDETs to automate repetitive manual testing.Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design sessionsProvide support to customers by actively participating in community boards and proactively answering questionsProvide support to product teams by becoming subject matter experts (SME) in the areas where the resource is the primary responsible individual (DRI)You AreMust be experienced in Data Analytics and the testing and validation of AI and MLA strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning technologiesIs a quick self-guided, independent learner.
