Job TitleQuality EngineerJob DescriptionAnalyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost. Lead investigations into nonconforming products, including containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Track and manage Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics to drive performance improvements. Partner with customers to address quality concerns through reviews, discussions, and presentations. Review and approve compliance documentation such as FAI, EIDP, and inspection records. Participate in cross-functional initiatives to optimize processes and systems. Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to procedures and regulatory standards. Mentor junior quality engineers and support their professional development. Develop and implement rework procedures for nonconforming materials.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree required. Minimum 8 years of experience in a specialized quality or engineering discipline OR 12 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree OR 6 years with a Master's degree OR 3 years with a PhD. Strong experience with quality assurance, manufacturing processes, and root cause analysis. Familiarity with regulatory standards, compliance documentation, and audit processes. Proven ability to lead initiatives and influence cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills for customer-facing and internal collaboration.
