About the Role
Specifically, you'll define and own every step of the development process, ensuring design and software adhere to standards. Don't know web3? Perfect, we will teach you and coach you every step of the way until your aha moment. The ideal candidate is a seasoned QA engineer but is curious about web3 and hungry to learn.
You will develop and execute automated tests to assess code quality and help the team meet target release dates and delay any issues back to the team and product owners.
What You'll Do
Be part of a Scrum self-organizing team.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
Help troubleshoot issues.
Perform and document risk analysis.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Track quality assurance metrics.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Work with the development team and product line managers in a timely manner to guarantee the quality of delivered software.
Contribute to developing standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
We're Looking for a Team Member
We're looking for a team member who has 5+ years' experience as a QA engineer or similar role.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
Solid knowledge of scripting languages: Javascript (React), Python, SQL, Bash, HTML5.
Experience with API automation tooling: Postman/Insomnia and E2E testing frameworks like Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium, etc.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Pluses
Experience developing Web3 interfaces but not necessary.
Experience with platforms like Shopify, Wordpress would be clutch.
Experience with crypto pretty awesome, but definitely not necessary.
