Job Description

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automated testing, E2E test frameworks, accessibility testing, and API testing and a proven ability to plan and execute complex testing initiatives across Agile environments to ensure production-grade quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts across SDLC and STLC.
  • Manage defects through identification, tracking, triage, and closure.
  • Perform accessibility (ADA) testing using JAWS, keyboard navigation, Color Contrast Analyzer, VoiceOver (iOS), TalkBack (Android), and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
  • Implement continuous testing practices and develop, maintain, and execute automated frameworks and scripts using Raft, Playwright, Selenium, and SoapUI for integrated E2E scenarios.
  • Conduct Web Services and API testing with validation of payloads, schemas, and integrations.
  • Support Production Certification by executing manual and automated test suites to validate production health and identify post-production defects.
  • Collaborate with QA teams, Project Managers, Technical Managers, and senior leadership to plan and deliver testing outcomes.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and align testing with TDD and E2E strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Manual and Automation Testing using Playwright, Raft, GitHub Copilot, and Selenium-based frameworks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of STLC and QA methodologies.
  • Hands-on Web Services and API testing experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database testing concepts.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and Octane.
  • Prior experience conducting Accessibility (ADA) testing.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Splunk for monitoring and analysis.
  • Familiarity with DevOps testing practices and CI/CD environments.
  • Strong understanding of SQL testing and database validation techniques.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and TDD.
  • Domain experience in Brokerage, Retail Wealth Management, Consumer Banking, or Financial Services.
  • Hands-on with automation tools such as Playwright, Raft, Selenium, UFT, and TOSCA.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise testing initiatives and cross-functional teams.
